Fashion- Burgundy Series- Part 3

October 6, 2017

Thanksgiving is this weekend- cue the turkey, stuffing, red wine & most importantly a great outfit for the evening.

Whether you’re hosting or attending a thanksgiving dinner, you’ll get more compliments on your outfit than your dinner (or the delicious pie you bought brought).

You may have noticed that I really like (okay…LOVE) the colour burgundy for fall. The colour works great as base because it’s easy to style with other colours and accessories. It’s also a great colour because if you spill red wine on yourself- no one will notice.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- burgundy is universally flattering, so if you’re not wearing it in some form or another…just put down that pumpkin spice latte and go add some to your wardrobe already! Plus a burgundy dress is the new LBD!

For this look, I wanted the dress to be the focal point- I just love the rich tone. I chose black accessories- like this versatile cape (great for when it’s cold outside) and flats (or heels if you want to dress your outfit up even more). To add some “pizazz” to the whole look I chose this crystal necklace.
